Veira Group introduces Linux based Coolita 2.0 OS for Smart TVs

The Indian smart TV market is huge, TV companies keep launching new products with new technology to create a base. Like Android phones, Google’s operating system Android is the most in smart TVs. But now Veira Group has introduced Linux based Coolita 2.0 operating system to compete with Google which is for Smart TV. Veira Group has partnered with Coolita for this new smart TV operating system.

Talking about the features of Coolita OS, users will get a new TV experience with it. According to the company’s claim, it will be much lighter and easier to use than the current operating system. With Coolita OS, users will get apps like YouTube, Prime Video, Zee5, Hungama, SonyLiv by default.

With this OS, the main TV screen can be cast to any TV connected to the same LAN. Pre-installed cloud games will be available in Coolita TV OS, there will also be inbuilt internet browser, app store and data saver. Data usage information will also be available in real time on TV.

Veira Group is the largest Smart TV ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) in the country. Veira Group has manufactured 3,00,000 TVs in the last four months which include TVs from brands like Haier, Infinix, iTel, Noble Skiodo, Iconic. With Coolita 2.0, the company plans to sell five lakh smart TVs.
